I never thought I'd be one to get scabies, but here I am. It started with some intense itching, mostly at night, that I initially dismissed as dry skin. Then I started noticing the tiny little bumps and the intensely irritating rash. After a trip to the doctor and a proper diagnosis, I'm finally treating it, but wow, this is rough. I was surprised at how common scabies actually are. I know it's easily spread, but I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences – did you notice a pattern in where it first appeared? What was your treatment like? Any advice for managing the intense itching? How can you get rid of them from your house, roommates and house?
